Football Field Cake
This 11x15 inch chocolate marble cake was decorated in a football theme to celebrate the wedding of an Athletic Director at a local high school. The school's colors are teal and purple. The cake is iced with buttercream frosting. I used the grass tip to create the turf look and to edge the cake. I cut purple fondant out for the end zones. Fondant was also used for the lettering and the football cut out. Candy sticks were used to create the goal posts.

Hockey Cake
This yellow cake was done for my husband in a Toronto Maple Leaf theme. I blew up a maple leaf and hockey stick pattern and then cut them out of fondant. When I do this, I tend to leave the fondant a little thicker. You are able to get a cleaner cut and it is easier to transfer it to the cake. The letters are also cut out of fondant. I use a high density roller to get my buttercream icing so smooth.

Feliz Cumpleanos!
This cake was made for a friend's husband. Since they are from Puerto Rico, I decided to give it a Spanish theme. The two 10-inch yellow round cakes are frosted with buttercream icing and all the decorations are made from fondant. I used the rope border on the bottom. The yellow, red and orange all looked very nice together.
